Testbase UKMT Challenge Questions 1997-2008by

The UK Mathematics Trust Challenges are lively, intriguing multiple choice question papers, which are designed to stimulate interest in maths. This disc contains 825 questions from 1997-2008 covering the three levels of secondary school range 11-18. Together these competitions attract over 600,000 entries each year from over 4000 schools and colleges. This disc allows the questions to be searched on Challenge, topic and difficulty of the question and allows you to create your own question sheets from them. The minimum computer requirements to run Testbase UKMT are 256MB of RAM, a CD-Rom drive and Windows 98 or later (Vista and Windows 7 compatible). Testbase UKMT is not supported on Mac computers.

Topics include primes and divisibility, congruence arithmetic and the representation of real numbers by decimals. A useful summary of techniques and hints is included. This is a fully revised and extended edition of a book which was initially published as part of the composite volume 'Introductions to Number Theory and Inequalities'.
The author is a former Oxford University lecturer and teacher at Clifton College, Bristol.

Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad and Kangaroo past papersby

Around 500 students in each of the three year groups sitting the Intermediate Challenge are invited to sit the follow-on rounds Cayley, Hamilton and Maclaurin. Around another 1,700 from each year group are invited to sit the Grey or Pink Kangaroo which are taken across Europe. Booklets are produced annually in May containing all the papers and solutions from that year.
